Freedom fighters are eligible to claim pension and other benefits?

Please clear my doubt. recently madras high court in its judgement of "kith and kins" of Freedom Fighters are eligible to claim pension and other benefits from the government. my maternal uncle was a freedom fighter. He didn't marry in his lifetime. Thereby no direct heirs. but he nominated me to get his provident fund. On the basis of the above judgement, I claimed a pension from central and state governments. but they rejected my claim. as per judgement am I eligible or not. kindly help me. thanking you. I am a senior citizen with a handicapped person. Moreover, I cannot walk. I am also suffering from hypertension, heart problem and borderline diabetes.
