Seeking Legal Guidance, Assistance and Advice in Challenging Circumstances
Background of the Situation
I am currently residing in Chennai and am reaching out to you for Legal Guidance, assistance and advice concerning my current situation. To provide a comprehensive understanding, let me share the background of my circumstances.Marriage and Unfortunate Challenges
I got married to Mr. Rajat Sharma on 15.05.2013 in Chennai, adhering to Hindu rituals. However, it is essential to note that I was a minor at the time of our marriage, having completed only the 9th grade. Strangely, my official birthday was registered as 2.10.1994. During our marriage, my husband was 36 years old, engaged in a chemical business, and owned a factory in Ambattur Industrial Estate. We share two sons, Aditya (10 years old) and Arjun (9 years old), and our matrimonial home is situated at Signature City, Sowcarpet.Harassment and New Relationships
Regrettably, I have been experiencing harassment from my father-in-law, causing significant distress in my life. During this challenging period, I met Aryan Khan, a 20-year-old born on 03.03.2003, with whom I developed a close relationship. Aryan works at a salon on OMR, and together, we have traveled to Delhi and Banaras. Aryan used to visit my home frequently when my family members were absent, and my children were aware of our relationship.Legal Challenges Arise
Unfortunately, when I went to Delhi with Aryan, my husband, Rajat Sharma, filed a complaint against me at the local police station. The complaint is still pending, and he continues to threaten me. Additionally, my in-laws have contacted my family, making specific demands. They insisted I call Aryan and return any articles he might have taken from our home. Failure to comply led to threats of a complaint against both of us. I want to emphasize that Aryan has not taken any articles from our home, and I believe my family is falsely accusing him, associating him with his Muslim background.Legal Matters at Hand
In light of these circumstances, I am seeking a divorce from my husband, Rajat Sharma, who has expressed his intention to retain custody of our children. While my mother suggests filing the divorce case in Banaras, I prefer to file it in Chennai. Rajat Sharma is willing to grant a divorce once Aryan returns any alleged articles.Legal Guidance Needed
Based on our previous discussions, I kindly request your professional guidance and assistance on the following matters:Marriage Possibility with Aryan
The possibility of marriage between me and Aryan, considering his age is under 21.Harassment Complaint Against Father-in-law
