Business Loan repayment and payment out standing issues

Business Loan repayment and payment out standing issues: Our company is a Partnership firm. My partner applied overdraft and use up all money before he die without my knowledge, Now bank chasing me to repay the amount with interest. I told bank that I was not aware of this transaction and no banking personnel asked for my signature. Bank rep says that as per deed my partner was signing authority and overdraft process online.I quote to the favorable point in deed that any money borrowed must have all partners sign off. Bank still say I'm liable to pay this money. Also threaten me that if I refuse to repay the amount, bank will force put penalties in my home loan and also say have provision to cease my home, my home loan was taken in same bank. Please guide us in this Business Loan repayment and payment out standing issues. Do bank have rights to put penalties or cease home for some other loan issue?
