Respected Sir, My name is xxxxxx from Chennai. I am writing this mail in a very much depression to you. Myself and my total family were mentally disturbed regarding this issue. Yes, Sir, I was wrongly faced with one credit card payment from SBI bank for the past year. From March 2020 to date, I have faced calls on a daily basis from the collection department, 5 times collection agent comes to my home and threatened me for the amount which is was totally unused. Also received two legal notices from the bank side. I have already registered a complaint to the cybercrime department and received an FIR copy in June 2020

Moreover, I will explain elaborately my issue. I applied for one SBI credit card and started to use it in 2017 and the card no ending with 0971. In 2019 February it was automatically closed and after that, I am not received any statement or payment-related messages. It was totally mismatched with all the details when I was login to see my credit card net banking except my name.Outstanding
At that time I have approximately 20,000 RS outstanding. I have immediately forwarded so many complaint mails to the bank regarding this confusion. But they replied to my mail that your card will be upgraded from Simply Save to IRTC and the card will be issued to you. But I haven't received any new card and also I was not given any upgrade request to the bank. I have walked through the bank directly and complained about these issues. They simply said that your complaint has been registered and said that please wait some more times. I have waited a lot but they do not resolve my issue.Cibil report
In March 2020, I have returned back this issue with a new face. Yes, sir, I have started to receive outstanding messages for 80,000 with a card ending 4044 that was totally not related to me. After that I have received daily calls, collection agents threatening, and also two legal notices. This time also complains to the bank several times. I have forwarded this issue to RBI and CIBIL too. After a long struggle, in Feb 2021 one nodal officer called me and explained clearly that all mistakes happened from the bank side and tried to convince me to pay the old card outstanding. I also said that I will pay my used amount. But I will request them to clear this account that was wrongly tagged in my Cibil report since July 2020.All discussions are good with the nodal officer and both of them are convinced. But still, I am facing calls from the collection department and SBI bank for the amount which was not related to me. My problem didn't resolve yet. I am having so much depression regarding this issue and really don't know what to do next.I have raised the complaints to banks, RBI, CIBIL, and Cyber Crime.
