My ex-wife filed a false complaint against me and my family. Later we had applied for quashing based on which the FIR against my family was quashed. But the case against me was not filed for FIR quashing that time based on my lawyer's advice. Now, my ex-wife and I have got divorced and it was agreed to pay her a lump sum as alimony, a partial amount once when we get the divorce papers, and the remaining when the criminal case against me has been withdrawn. I had already paid the first installment and now she\'s asking for the remaining amount stating she has withdrawn the case. I would like to know,1) if she has withdrawn the case, what is the proof that I will be getting?2) If the case against me is withdrawn, should I still apply for FIR Quash? If the case itself is withdrawn, then the FIR itself stands invalid?[caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1200"] Legal doubt: FIR Quashing - My ex-wife filed a false complaint against me and my family.
