We (Myself, Mom and my sister) have total 54 cent Grahma natham in two pattas at Melapattu village, Cheyyur vattam, Chengalpattu District. We have patta only. That too issued by Taluk office and VAO. We dont have any document for that. We first got the land patta from government (may be by UDR or natham Nilavari thittam-i am not sure).From my Father and Grandmother name, now those 54 cents were transferred to my our name jointly (My mom, My Sis and Me). Meanwhile for the same land, one of our relative claiming 16 cent from 54 cent. They are showing document, for the same. Documents at year 1949 and other document at year 2002. They gave written manu -petition to the revenue department for recheck and issue the 16 cent patta to the Property.
Next Police came to site. They made investigation. At present they took letter from both of us mentioning that we both do not use that 16 cent land with out legally clearing the land belonging. They also stopped the Land surveying and patta transfer to my Sister name. Kindly advise me how to proceed. But that surveyor was personally telling to deal the matter internally else if Thasildar and RI comes for investigation, they make take all land (54 cents) in to government custody and issue only 3 cent patta. Patta transfer through local VAO
Then they occupied that 16 cent and put small hut and kept some banana trees to show to government that they are using the land. I gone to india for vacation. During that time myself and my mom gave the land to my sister by gift deed. We requested for patta transfer through local VAO in my Sister name. Also we paid money for surveying the land. Last week I removed that hut and banana trees along with the other land to make the area clear for surveying. But they (relative-opposition party) gave police complaint against us.
